We have 4 opportunities at Furlong Flooring (Wales) to join an established business as part of the transport team.

The role will require some heavy lifting, all vehicles are loaded at the depot, offloading may be required by hand.

We are looking for candidates who show a “can do” attitude and demonstrate a high level of customer care/service who wish to support the team working within our transport department. The workload can be busy and successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate flexibility in their working patterns to support the business need of the organisation.

Successful applicants will be expected to:

Drive company vehicles to deliver products to customers within our trading area.
Work within a 100-mile radius, dropping to various locations.
Gain knowledge of loading/unloading practices to ensure deliveries our carried out efficiently, meeting customers’ expectation.
Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
Communicate effectively with all departments to maintain a high standard of service.
Maintain vehicles in a satisfactory and safe condition.
Assist with loading of vehicles from warehouse when applicable.
Take responsibility for delivery schedule and notifying colleagues when issues occur.
Carry out various driving/delivery duties required to assist with the smooth delivery to customers.
Work alongside all colleagues to provide excellent customer service. Demonstrate awareness of Health & Safety, Manual Handling and all other legislative requirements.

You will have a current:

Class 2 Drivers Licence (preferably clean)
Drivers CPC
Digital Driver Tacho Card
